“I was nervous to start with. I really felt I hadn’t had a nice picture taken of me for a long time. I also didn’t have makeup on and was in comfortable clothes waiting for a massage afterwards. Ankya made me feel so relaxed, and I got over the nerves pretty quick. I then felt so calm and just went with the flow. As the photo’s progressed, I felt a real sense of ‘self’ and serenity. As i relaxed into the photo shoot and started to free myself up I started to really enjoy the experience…I started to talk to my feet, telling them how much i appreciate the constant support and strength they are giving me on this journey of mine and then I allowed myself to lean back into the volcanic rook of this ancient goddess temple and feel the roots of trees stretching up into the universe i felt myself for the first time going to the depth of my soul and the roots within stretching up to the light and the love within me that is one with the beauty of nature and one with my own beauty.
My experience of seeing the photos I wanted to cry with joy at seeing my beauty shining out to the world and saying yes to my inner wisdom, strength, my feminine power, my wild hair my natural being true to my nature, my overwhelming sense of freedom yes its truly me. Yes I cherish the divine source of love and beauty within and I own it its me.
